FAQ, Scheduling, Re-scheduling & Cancellation Policies - The Fine Print
Cancellation and rescheduling are welcome at all times until 24 hours before the appointment, unless in the case of emergency or illness, God forbid, there is no charge.
For cancellation within 24 hours, or missed appointment without valid reason (emergency or illness), client is asked to compensate for the session.
For last minute sessions (booked the day before or the day of), the client is expected to hold said appointment, unless for emergency or illness.
Nili is happy to reschedule on the same day if it is within her scheduling possibilities at no charge. But if she is unable to reschedule and the client wishes to cancel, the fee is still applied to the client. For example, a client is welcome to message in and ask if a session can start earlier or later. If Nili is able to accommodate said request, she is happy to. If she is not able to accommodate the client request, the client can choose to honor the scheduled session, or pay the cancellation fee.
The client is always welcome to be in touch with Nili for rescheduling needs.
FAQ-
1. Are the sessions confidential?
Absolutely.
Please note, for sessions with minors, Nili requests written consent from legal guardian before the first session. All sessions with minors are also confidential, unless Nili deems that their safety are at risk, God forbid, at which point the legal guardian will be informed of the concern, with the minor being informed of said sharing.
2. Does Nili do free consultation calls?
Nili is happy to jump on a quick 5-10 minute call free of charge to answer any questions about her work as a therapist. She won't delve into client history or personal topics on the first call in order to truly honor what the client is going through. She wishes to give full and extended time and attention to whatever the client is going through in a full session. That honor cannot be achieved in just a few short minutes. The consultation calls are primarily for personal introduction and technical questions.
3. Does Nili do free introductory sessions?
No. Payment begins from the first session going forward. The client is invited to try out a session, at regular cost, but without commitment to go forward to any further sessions. Nili believes in the value of energy exchange, and when a client invests in their own work, it pays off in their favor. Nili also believes in living with integrity, and then teaching it. It would be out of integrity for Nili to work for free as she truly values her work, her efforts, her time, and all of the personal and professional development she invests in. She believes that when she honors her values and needs, she also becomes a personal example for clients to honor their values and needs as well. She believes this is one of the keys to happiness!
4. Are clients able to message Nili out of session?
Brief questions and concerns are welcome over text and voice note. Extended discussions are saved for session. Nili also believes in practicing boundaries and clear communication as a way to live in integrity and model them. She will communicate with the client if any questions or discussions are best saved for session. She asks that clients respect her communicated boundaries. And also wishes for clients to feel comfortable and free within the boundaries of respect and listening.
5. What if a client wants more time in any given session?
If a client feels that they would like to extend a session they can ask Nili before or in session if she has an extra 1/2 hour or hour. If Nili is able to, she is happy to extend the session. The client compensates for the extra time a pro-rated cost. In other words, if the client wishes to extend by half hour, they add half a session's cost to the session.
6. What if there is a scheduling issue for Nili?
Nili will also honor the contract of cancelling with the client 24 hours in advance, unless in the case of emergency or illness. Then she will do her best to reschedule at the clients convenience. Generally if there is ever a glitch in schedule, such as lateness due to client back-up, Nili is happy to add any missed time to a future session. To clarify, therapy is sensitive human work. If during a session Nili truly feels a client needs an extra few minutes that push into another client's coming session, she will message the next client to let them know. If that next client does not have time to extend, she will offer to tag the extra minutes onto a future session.
7. It says that Nili is a Spiritual Psychotherapist for women. Does she work with couples? Men? Young men?
Nili's primary niche is working with women, couples, and families. She will work with men in certain occasions. Please reach out and see if it is a fit.
8. The website addresses pricing for therapy work, what about for speaking engagements, workshops and ceremonies?
Please do reach out to Nili for speaking engagement pricing. Pricing varies on a number of factors including online vs. in person, travel time, size of audience, type of presentations/ceremony, and more. She is honored and delighted to share her exuberance and wisdom and would love to speak with you about setting up future opportunities.

A Message from Nili:
Dear Future Client,
I so look forward to working together!
On a personal note- it is important for anyone that is considering working with me to know that I truly believe that therapy does not have to be a drag, nor something you have to feel ashamed of, or are annoyed to do.... nor do I intend to judge you for anything (and I mean ANYTHING) you hope to bring to the table. I am into what is real, whatever that is in your life. I am on open-minded baalat tshuva who has heard it all or been through it myself! I am here to love you, to honor your process, and to respect every inch of your beautiful neshama.
Yallah let's rock and roll, bH. If you dig our work, we continue. If you don't, there is zero pressure. Blessings!

“Some periods of our growth are so confusing that we don’t even recognize that growth is happening. We may feel hostile or angry or weepy and hysterical, or we may feel depressed. It would never occur to us, unless we stumbled on a book or a person who explained to us, that we were in fact in the process of change, of actually becoming larger, spiritually, than we were before. Whenever we grow, we tend to feel it, as a young seed must feel the weight and inertia of the earth as it seeks to break out of its shell on its way to becoming a plant. Often the feeling is anything but pleasant. But what is most unpleasant is the not knowing what is happening. Those long periods when something inside ourselves seems to be waiting, holding its breath, unsure about what the next step should be, eventually become the periods we wait for, for it is in those periods that we realize that we are being prepared for the next phase of our life and that, in all probability, a new level of the personality is about to be revealed.”
